810 Varsity's inaugural soccer showcase certainly lived up to its name.

The first annual Best of the Midwest Soccer Showcase lined up multiple state champions, including a preview of the Missouri Class 4 final, and a thrilling ending to the nightcap. 

The second annual certainly won't be a letdown, to be held Saturday, October 14 at St. Thomas Aquinas. Five matchups are set, with the finale being defending Kansas Class 6A champion Dodge City vs traditional Class 5A power, St. Thomas Aquinas.

On the national rankings, BV Southwest (10-0) is No. 3, while Dodge City (12-0) is ranked No. 13

Per USA Today, four of the top 13 in Region VII are in the event:
1. BV Southwest
2. Dodge City
12. St. Thomas Aquinas
13. Washburn Rural 

The entire top five in Kansas, per TopDrawerSoccer.com, was scheduled in the event:
1. Dodge City (12-0)
2. BV Southwest (10-0)
3. Bishop Miege (11-0)
4. St. Thomas Aquinas (7-3-2)
5. Washburn Rural (10-3)
