A year ago, Leavenworth commenced its first search for a head boys basketball coach in nearly 40 years.
Just 14 months later, LHS is back on the search again.
Per sources, Prentes Potts, who took the helm last season after coaching at Schlagle, resigned on May 31, citing family reasons for the departure. The Pioneers finished 9-11 in his lone campaign at Leavenworth.
Leavenworth hired Potts last year to replace long-time head coach Larry Hogan.
Hogan had coached with the Pioneers for 35 years until April 2018, when the coach was terminated by the district.
