810 Varsity, entering its second decade as the leading high school sports entity in Kansas City, has freelance openings for the following roles - great opportunity to break into sports, or have fun and stay involved on the sports scene!

Broadcaster
Play-by-play announcers with good knowledge of sports. Can vary from limited or no experience to well experienced. Having a laptop and ability to oversee broadcast software (provided) helps.
Pay will vary, depending on experience, and travel for games

Camera/Computer
Willing person to operate basic camera in press box, helping set up computer. Video setup (camera, tripod, A/V devices and cable) provided.
Having an i7 laptop or better helps.
Pay will vary, depending on aptitude. $40/game minimum

Sales
Commission-only sales slots available. Sky is limit on what you sell!

Interns - HS and College!
Openings from shadowing to calling games to operating and overseeing broadcasts. Photographers and sportswriting opps too!

Game Night Help
Submit scores and recaps. Game video highlights. Can provide on-air recaps too!
