MISSOURI

Blue Springs vs Lee’s Summit North
The Broncos beat Blue Springs for the first time in 27 tries last year. Will they catch Blue Springs in a letdown game after the Rockhurst win? Or will the Wildcats avenge last year’s loss. Feels like LS North is a shade lighter on offense than last year, and Blue Springs D is pretty good.
Winner: Blue Springs

Lee’s Summit West at Blue Springs South
Jaguars seeking first win, and this would be a good one. But will have to wait one more week.
Winner: Lee’s Summit West

Park Hill at Liberty North
Battle of two undefeateds in the Northland. Eagles resurgent, but the Park Hill defense arguably best in the city.
Winner: Park Hill

Staley at Lee’s Summit
Tigers got a nice blowout win last week. Staley did the same – at Kearney.
Winner: Staley

Liberty at Truman
Jays get back on track at Truman.
Winner: Liberty

St. Joe Central at Park Hill South
Panthers looked brutal in 35-0 loss at Ray-Pec in Week One. Suddenly, will be 2-1.
Winner: Park Hill South

Belton at Fort Osage
Didn’t think be two 0-2 teams facing off. Fort has to get this one at home, right?
Winner: Fort Osage

North Kansas City at Ruskin
Eagles playing better this year, but Hornets will break a couple off that Ruskin can’t counter.
Winner: North Kansas City

William Chrisman at Oak Park
Northmen with a big-time win last week vs Raytown. But Chrisman has played respectably against two Top 20 teams.
Winner: William Chrisman

Raytown South at Raytown
Dunno what got into Raytown last week, but they get up for their rival.
Winner: Raytown

Smithville at Grain Valley
Another battle of 2-0 teams. Don’t know if Eagles have the offense to keep up with Smithville.
Winner: Smithville

Grandview at Winnetonka
Tonka looking to go to 3-0!
Winner: Winnetonka

Kearney at Platte County
Not often facing after one took a loss. And both off a loss? When that last happen? As for the game, until Platte County shows they can beat Kearney…

The Wildcats got through their run of top 10 state foes. Should get the W.
Winner: Harrisonville

Both improved this year.

Bulldogs rolling along.
Winner: Odessa

Sedalia Smith-Cotton at Warrensburg
Da Burg
Winner: Warrensburg

Raymore-Peculiar at Rockhurst
Big test for where Ray-Pec stands after a 2-0 start. May have been better to catch Rock after a loss, and also Coach Sev’s first home game on the farewell tour.
Winner: Rock State

Maryville at Chillicothe
Winner: Maryville

St. Joe Lafayette at Benton
Winner: Lafayette

Clinton at Summit Christian
Winner: Summit Christian

May be interesting with West having the W in week one. Or… it may not be.
Winner: Bishop Miege

Free State at Olathe East
Free State can make a strong statement with big win here. Even bigger statement if O-East wins.
Winner: Free State
