The district final that 810 Varsity has been predicting for over a month is finally here. And hyped for good reason, as the top two Missouri teams in KC face off for a trip to the semis. 
With all that jabber done, who's going to win? Let's just go with the Liberty North magic in a close one, like 27-24.

Raytown at Fort Osage
The Fort won earlier this year in a to-and-fro game. Raytown has the talent to go far in the Class 5 playoffs. But when it comes to district finals, hard to go against the Fort.

Harrisonville at Grain Valley
810 Varsity predicted all the district finals correct ... but what about the winner? Liking Grain Valley's mojo this year and a more balanced team.

By name brand, Platte County should have it. But PC is just 1-3 on the road, and feels like there's some special about this Lincoln Prep season that should be capped with a district title.

Yellowjackets always tough in the playoffs, but Odessa is a beast and looking at the title game.

BV North at Blue Valley
Three years in a row BV North has entered the playoffs with a middling record, and the prior two years, rolled to the state final. 3-for-3? Or BV break through and make its own run to the semis? Liking the BV D in this one.

BV West at Olathe North
Love to just pick EKL and call the big upset. And probably should with EKL advancing in all 6 games it played in last week. But we'll see what the Eagles have in store with the chips on the line.

Mill Valley at De Soto
The USD 232 Showdown! De Soto's watched all these years with MV going to the state title games and 5A semis, and gets it chance to stop it firsthand. Well, all that sounds good - on paper.

BV Southwest at St. Thomas Aquinas
Been a fun playoff run for the Timberwolves for sure! But its a different level now with Aquinas.

Bishop Miege at Tonganoxie
Normally, Tongie would play Paola with the winner likley hoisting the state title trophy and a big sign on 40 Highway. But its not normal in Kansas Class 4A, and the hopes of 2-3 classes of lifelong Tongie students will end, while Miege gets to toss the trophy like the end of Raiders of Lost Ark, and in with the other trophies in a cluttered case.
