The 810 Varsity Shootout is set for this Saturday at Avila, and with a bonus for many - fans will be allowed at the annual showcase.

Up to 300 total people (counting players, coaches, cheerleaders as well) will be allowed at each game on Saturday, December 19. COVID practices will be adhered to with temperature checks upon entrance, masks being worn and social distancing being abided. But still - a great chance to watch some of the top teams in the area.

Three of the 810 Varsity Top 10, plus perennial power Park Hill South, will face off in the final four games. 

No. 8 Blue Valley will take on No. 20 Park Hill South at 6:30 pm, while No. 2 Blue Valley Northwest will take on No. 4 Staley at 8:30 pm.

Kansas state power McPherson will face off in a girls and boys twinbill, as the Class 4A No. 2 Lady Bullpups will take on Barstow, in the top 3 in Class 3. 

The Class 4A No. 5 boys will face the Class 6A No. 5 team, Olathe South at 4:15 pm.

The event will require the arena being cleared twice for COVID regulations: After the McPherson vs Olathe South game, and after the Park Hill South vs Blue Valley game. (The clearing will allow for the families and fans of those games to be able to see their game).

All games will be live streamed on 810Varsity.com as well.
