Pick who the top player in the last 10 years, in 810 Varsity's bracket

Vote for the greatest player in Kansas City the last 10 years (2011-20), as listed and seeded by 810 Varsity.

Criteria was based on:
- All-State and regional, national accolades
- State final and tourney success
- Collegiate and professional success

Four 16-player regions make up the bracket. Cast your vote - rounds are now one day each.

Rush Region

JaRon Rush won the DiRenna Award three times (1996, 1997, 1998) - the only player to do so - for the top high school player in Kansas City. JaRon went on to play at UCLA. 

JaRon was followed up by Kareem as the DiRenna winner in 1999. Kareem played with Mizzou and then was an NBA first-round pick in logging time in seven NBA seasons (2002-2010).

Brandon followed the duo and won a national championship at Kansas (2008), and was the No. 13 overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. Brandon played nine seasons in the NBA, including for the 2015 World Champion Golden State Warriors

- Went to Duke, transferred to SMU; AAC Player of Year (19 ppg, 7 reb)
- Currently in fourth season with Boston Celtics

Dainan Swoope, SM South

- Helped Raiders to 2013 5A state title (25-0)
- Runner-up Gatorade Kansas Player of Year (2014)
- Played collegiately at Elon, Sam Houston State

Martez Harrison, University Academy

- 2x Missouri Class 3 all-state team
- DiRenna Award finalist averaging 34 ppg as a senior, 27.5 ppg as junior
- WAC Player of the Year as sophomore at UMKC

Ishmail Wainright, Raytown South

- Played at Raytown South through sophomore year (13.6 ppg, 10 reeb)
- Top 50 recruit in 2013 class
- Played, started with Baylor four years
- Converted to tight end, signed with Bills in 2018

- DiRenna Award finalist (2016)
- All-time Liberty North leader in reb, blocks, FG percentage and 2nd in points
- Missouri Class 5 all-state team (2016)
- Three-year starter at Duquesne

Jeriah Horne, Barstow

- DiRenna Award winner (2016)
- 3x Missouri Class 3 all-state team
- Helped lead Knights to 3 state title games, 2015 state title
- Played at Nebraska, Tulsa and currently Colorado

Anthony Bonner, Lawrence

- DiRenna Award finalist (2015)
- Helped lead Lions to a 24-2 record and Kansas Class 6A runner-up while averaging 19.3 ppg
- Played at Colorado State

- Three-year starter at Creighton, ranking in top 20 in many three-pointer categories
