810 Varsity and Children's Mercy Sports Medicine Center have partnered for a weekly Children’s Mercy Sports Medicine Center Metro Area High School Male and Female Student-Athlete Performance of the Week award!
Nominations are due each week, by Monday at noon, and can be submitted online at https://www.childrensmercy.org/performanceoftheweek
810 Varsity also will post weekly reminders on Twitter and at 810Varsity.com as well.
On Monday afternoon, the selection committee will review the nominations and choose a weekly Male and Female winner. Then Tuesday, the winners will be announced on both the 810 Varsity and the Children’s Mercy Sports Medicine Center social media channels, as well as 810Varsity.com .
At the end of the year, a Male and Female Student-Athlete of the Year will be selected, and each winner will be invited to be recognized on the field prior to a Sporting KC match at Children’s Mercy Park.

Isaac Patterson, Blue Valley North
Patterson helped lead the Mustangs to a win over Blue Valley Northwest, snapping a 13-game skid against the Huskies. Patterson notched 12 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in the 63-62 win.
For the year, the 6-foot-5 senior is averaging 11.4 points and team-highs in rebounds (6.2) and assists (4.8). Patterson is committed to playing basketball at William Jewell.
Grace Slaughter, Grain Valley
Grace has been racking up buckets at a record pace, averaging 27.2 ppg this year, and passed the 1,000-point mark this season in just her 41st high shool game.
Slaughter has registered five games of 30+ points, including a school record 45 vs Raytown. Just a sophomore, Slaughter already is committed to Mizzou.
