The 810 Varsity Scouting Combine has been moved indoors!
With the rain in May, and many wanting unaffected timing results, 810 Varsity has elected to move the 810 Varsity Football Scouting Combines indoors to Homefield in Olathe, KS.
The adjusted dates are:
* A second session will be added from 1p-4p if needed
Also a major change will be adding TopSpeed to conduct the laser timing results. TopSpeed, overseen by Joseph Potts, has been Kansas City's top training option for skill players since 2012.
With the partnership with TopSpeed, the results of the 810 Varsity Combines will be sent to nearly 850 colleges and 3,000 college coaches.
"This is a major addition to the 810 Varsity Combines, in partnering with one of the top performance coaches in the country," said 810 Varsity's Chad Rader. Potts has trained athletes in the NFL, MLB, NBA, MLS, the Olympic Games and many college athletes.
The linemen drills will be overseen by Chris Gomez and Michael Rose-Ivey, who starred at Rockhurst and played at Nebraska. The two started the popular King of the Pit series for linemen, starting last fall during COVID.
Laser timing and being indoors will be offer the most accurate times at any combines in the region.
