810 Varsity and Children's Mercy Sports Medicine Center have partnered for a weekly Children’s Mercy Sports Medicine Center Metro Area High School Male and Female Student-Athlete Performance of the Week award! 

Nominations are due each week, by Monday at noon, and can be submitted online at https://www.childrensmercy.org/performanceoftheweek 

810 Varsity also will post weekly reminders on Twitter and at 810Varsity.com as well. 

On Monday afternoon, the selection committee will review the nominations and choose a weekly Male and Female winner. Then Tuesday, the winners will be announced on both the 810 Varsity and the Children’s Mercy Sports Medicine Center social media channels, as well as 810Varsity.com .

At the end of the year, a Male and Female Student-Athlete of the Year will be selected, and each winner will be invited to be recognized on the field prior to a Sporting KC match at Children’s Mercy Park.

MALE PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK - 9/2/2021

Anthony Miller, William Chrisman

Anthony Miller of William Chrisman opened the season in style, rushing for 241 yards on 25 carries. The junior running back scored three touchdowns to help the Bears to a 37-19 win vs Winnetonka. 

FEMALE PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK - 9/2/2021

Morgan Colangelo, Blue Valley West

Morgan helped Blue Valley West to a 25-21, 25-19 win over St. Teresa's last Saturday at the Volleyball Slam. The senior kept the ball alive many times at libero, averaging close to five digs per set.
