Ticketing, options easier for Missouri playoffs

A year ago, high school sports fans felt fortunate to watch their teams in the playoffs in person.

Now in 2021, not only is the postseason here, but an easier way to get tickets to the games too.

Fans and families in Missouri can purchase tickets digitally via HomeTown Ticketing - the official digital ticketing provider of the MSHSAA. With COVID-19 concerns as well as securely buying tickets, fans are ensured they’ll be at the games, and see the playoffs, from the first round to the title games or matches, including the Show-Me Bowl for football.

Tickets for all MSHSAA post season events, including highschool football playoff games, can be purchased by going to the MSHSAA website at mshsaa.org or with the tap of a button on a mobile device on Hometown’s new Fan App, available in the apple store or Google Play.

During the early stages of COVID-19, fans were reduced to 150 per school with wristbands given out, and the rest relegated to watching games online at MSHSAA.tv. But since then, restrictions have been eased over the 1.5 years, and one improvement along the way has been digital ticketing.

HomeTown now provides paperless ticketing platforms to more than 10,000 schools nationwide including 40 schools in Missouri – including the Liberty schools, Smithville and many other Metro area schools. HomeTown Ticketing enters its second year as the official ticketing partner of the MSHSAA, providing digital/online tickets for football, volleyball, boys soccer, fall softball, cross country, girls golf, boys swimming and diving and girls tennis.

“Playoffs are great time for all the teams participating this fall, and we are excited continue our partnership with MSHSAA to bring convenience to fans across the state.  We want to make it as easy as possible to get into the game without hassle every time,” said Ryan Hart, HomeTown Ticketing Chairman and CEO.
