The first full weekend of 2022 is around the corner, and a chance to hang out and watch a full day of basketball action.

810 Varsity Showcase 25 will tip this Saturday, January 8 at St. Thomas Aquinas. The lineup has six games for the day, with some usual state tourney contenders in Blue Valley North and Olathe South boys, Derby, Blue Valley North and St. Thomas Aquinas girls, and some young stars of tomorrow.

The event was to also boast Park Hill South vs Free State boys, but the Firebirds canceled due to COVID. Center also had to cancel due to COVID, as Olathe South rescheduled with Staley.

1 pm: Baldwin vs St. Michael the Archangel (girls)
2:30 pm: Blue Valley North vs Derby (girls)
4 pm: Blue Valley North vs Derby (boys)
5:30 pm: St. Thomas Aquinas vs Lee's Summit West (boys)
7 pm: St. Thomas Aquinas vs Park Hill South (girls)
8:30 pm: Olathe South vs Staley (boys)
