Below are the rankings of running backs in Kansas for the 2022 season, as listed by Tyler Wendland of MoKan 7v7 and Kansas Elite.

Dylan Edwards, Derby

The 2021 Gatorade Player of the Year ranks in the top 20 for 2023 running backs in the nation. Edwards committed on Saturday to Notre Dame.
 

John Randle, Wichita Heights

Randle also ranks in the top 20 nationally at running back, with 20+ Power 5 offers from Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee among others.

Grant Stubblefield, Blue Valley Northwest

Stubblefield ran for 200+ yards three times in 2021 in the tough Eastern Kansas League, racking up 1,850 total yards and 25 TDs.

LJ Phillips, Wichita Northwest

Phillips exploded in 2021 with 1,982 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns, as well as three receiving scores.

Omari Elias, Kapaun Mt Carmel

Just a junior, Elias has rushed for over 2,500 yards and 30 TDs in his first two seasons. 

Sage Huffman, Blue Valley West

Huffman ran for 1,457 yards and 13 touchdowns to earn first-team Class 6A honors in 2021.

Sean Carroll, St. Thomas Aquinas

Carroll got rolling as a junior, racking up 1,500+ yards and 20+ touchdowns. 

Malik O'Atis, Shawnee Mission Northwest

First-team all Sunflower League after compiling 1,547 total yards, 14 TDs in 2021

Jesse Greenly, Atchison

Greenly led Kansas City area rushers with 171.2 yards per game, 1,712 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns

Nash Money, Wellsville

Money was a first-team Class 2A selection for good reason, with nearly 1,600 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns.

Benson Berndt, Beloit

Berndt keeps helping boost Beloit into the Class 2A semis and title game as a soph and junior, with over 1,800 rushing yards and 25 scores in 2021.
 

Tyrell Reed, Lawrence

Reed looks to break loose after rushing for nearly 900 yards a year ago, but splitting time with New Mexico State commit Tre Richardson. Reed announced his transfer to Lawrence on Tuesday.
