16. Pembroke Hill

The Raiders finished third in Class 4, and return one of Missouri's best setters in senior Sydney Draper (750 assists), a Princeton commit. Senior Katie Hargroves and junior Gretel Robbins also will be in the fray.

17. Baldwin

Bulldogs finished fourth in Class 4A, and boast senior Chaney Barth and junior Fisayo Afonja for a formidable hitter tandem. Baldwin opened by blitzing through the Wellsville tourney.

18. Spring Hill

Junior Shannon Frakes returns from a 31-win team, and senior setter Daphne Gardner posted 900+ assists. Junior outside hitter Keliah Rivers also will step in up front.

19. St. Pius X

SPX tumbled in quarters to Pembroke Hill, but return junior libero Claire Mosh (500+ digs) and junior Avery Ashby (350 kills) among others.

20. Lansing

The Lions will take a step back after an incredible run of decades, including the Class 5A state title last year. But a cast of seniors and head coach Lindsay Zych left from the lineup. Senior Skylar weaver and juniors Anna Laincz, Virginia Van De Werff and Ashlynn Jaccard will help LHS.

23. Heritage Christian

Kansas Class 3A defending champions will be stout again losing just one player from the title team - and mainly underclassmen returning.
