Webb's 34 lead run-and-gun win for North Kansas City

If you stepped out for a soda or restroom break on Tuesday night at Park Hill, you may have missed 15-20 point scored.

North Kansas City and Park Hill unloaded offensive fireworks at Park Hill, as the Hornets outgunned the Trojans, 102-95.

Avian Webb led the Hornets with 34 points - including five three-pointers  - while Israel Randle added 25. Alex Gunnels and Tyler Parks chipped in 13 apiece.

Webb drained a perfect 13-of-13 free throws, as North Kansas City was 33-of-38 from the line.

"There were a lot of facets we can improve on, but free throws isn't one. We'll be pretty tough in close games if we shoot like that at the line," said NKC head coach Ed Fritz.

Park Hill was paced by Marqueas Bell's 26 points, while Gavin Schaag (24) and Kendrick Bell (23) also eclipsed the 20-point barrier.

"We had our moments for sure, and 95 points is a lot. Giving up 102 is the bigger concern and we know what to work on. But it was two good teams and just turned into a track meet," said Chad Jones, Park Hill head coach.
