St. Thomas Aquinas opened 810 Varsity Showcase 29 and showed why the Saints are the No. 2 team in the 810 Varsity Top 25. 

The Saints cruised past Lincoln Prep, 50-35, on Saturday in the opener of the 810 Varsity event, held at Blue Valley Northwest.

Aquinas led by as many 22, behind eight three-pointers in the contest. Senior Catherine Goodwin led the way with 15 points, while fellow senio Sydney Watts threw in 13.

After a 30-9 haltftime deficit, the Blue Tigers brought the game back a bit behind Ramyiah Logan's 14 points and Deliah Pippen's 10.
