Blue Valley North showed why its the top-ranked girls team in the Metro.

The Mustangs (9-0) rolled through Blue Springs, 55-27, in Game 4 of 810 Varsity Showcase 29, held at Blue Valley Northwest on Saturday.

Jaliya Davis led BV North with 22 points, while Aubrey Shaw (13), Tyara Davis (11)  and Nyla Hale (9) were the four Mustangs who scored.

But four scorers were plenty, as after an 11-7 first quarter, BV North hit the gas pedal in a 21-7 and 21-8 second and third period to blow the game open.
