The second event of this season's 810 Varsity Showcase series will line up some of the best teams in Kansas City and through Kansas - and one of the top talents in the region from Arkansas as well.

810 Varsity Showcase 32 lines up seven games at Shawnee Mission Northwest this Saturday, December 16. Highlights of the event include...

Shawnee Mission Northwest vs Springdale (Ark)

The Cougars are ranked No. 2 in Kansas after two straight years in the Kansas Class 6A tourney. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs fell just short in the Arkansas Class 6A title game. 

Springdale returns 4-star recruit Isaiah Sealy, the No. 8-ranked combo guard in the 2025 class per 247 Sports. The 6-foot-5 Sealy - who plays with area AAU power MoKan Elite - holds offers from Mizzou, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State among others. 

The host team boasts firepower of its own in 6-foot-5 junior shooting guard Keaton Wagler, and rising talent Ethan Taylor, a 6-foot-9 sophomore center. 

Four-star recruit Isaiah Sealy of Springdale (Ark) holds offers from Mizzou, Arkansas and others, and will face Shawnee Mission Northwest in the 8 pm finale.

Whether boys or girls, McPherson vs Bishop Miege has been quite the rivalry over the last decade in Kansas Class 4A. 

The two will start a two-year series in the 810 Varsity Showcase series - the second next year at the Roundhouse in McPherson. Both teams as usual are near the top of the state rankings and will face off with the girls at 2 pm, boys at 3:30 pm.

Three schools from the Blue Valley district will tip off with defending Kansas Class 6A state champions and No. 3 ranked in the 810 Varsity Top 25 Blue Valley Northwest facing Van Horn in the 11 am tilt. Following will be perennial Top 25 foes in Blue Valley West vs Park Hill South at 12:30 pm. Blue Valley North rounds out the BVSD trio at 5 pm vs Barstow.
