Broncos head football coach led Broncos to new era since 2015

Lee's Summit North's Jamar Mozee announced in meetings on Wednesday that he will step down as head football coach.

Multiple sources have said Mozee has accepted at a coaching position at the University of Central Florida. 

Mozee led the Broncos to the Missouri Class 6 semifinals in 2021 and 2022, and quarterfinals in 2023.

Mozee took over the program in 2015, which had won just four games the previous three seasons (2012-14). Since then, Mozee led the program to new heights at 64-35 overall, including 11-2 (semifinals) in 2021, 12-2 (semifinals) in 2022 and 10-1 (quarterfinals) in 2023.
