Blue Valley North High School is proud to announce the hiring of Blake Mudd as the next head football coach of the Mustangs.
Coach Mudd brings a strong blend of coaching experience,
teaching excellence, and a proven record of player development and program growth at both the high school and collegiate levels.
Coach Mudd most recently served as the interim head coach at Blue Valley North.
Prior to the role, he was defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach at Ottawa University, where he led one of the conference’s most productive defensive units.
As a coach he supports his commitment to developing student-athletes on and off the field.
“Coach Mudd emerged as the ideal leader to guide Mustang football forward,” said school administrators. “His defensive expertise, ability to build strong relationships, and commitment to
academic and athletic excellence align with the values of Blue Valley North. We are excited for the energy, discipline, and vision he will bring to our program.”
Coach Mudd expressed enthusiasm about joining the Mustang community:
“I am honored to lead the Blue Valley North football program and look forward to building a culture of accountability, toughness, and pride. My goal is to help our student-athletes become exceptional competitors and even better people. I cannot wait to get to work.”
