Park Hill South standout and Texas commit Addison Bjorn put on a scoring display with 36 points – a new 810 Varsity Showcase girls record for points in a game.
Despite the heroics, Blue Valley North, ranked No. 3 in Kansas Class 6A, led 10-0 out of the gates and maintained a double-digit lead that soared to 20 in the second half. But Bjorn’s 15 points in the fourth quarter cut the deficit to nine late.
The Mustangs star freshman Harper Winter tallied 22 points, while Evie Kincaid added 17.
Lee’s Summit West 63, Olathe South 58 (OT)
It took extra time, but Lee's Summit West was able to hold off Olathe South in the opener of 810 Varsity Showcase 42.
The Titans, No. 4 in Missouri Class 6, won 63-58 in overtime over the Falcons, ranked No. 4 in Kansas Class 6A.
West held a 45-38 lead entering the fourth quarter, but Olathe South fought back behind 11 points from Eve Long. Long, ranked No. 8 by ESPN for the nation’s 2026 class, finished with a game-high 32 points.
Long gave South a 56-54 lead to start overtime, but West’s Saniah Jones countered with an inside bucket, then Alex Keister buried a three-pointer for a 59-56 margin.
Long answered with a bucket on the block with 44 seconds left. But a free throw pushed the West lead to 60-58. A South turnover led to two Keister free throws to wrap the game.
“It was important to stay together and talk as a team. Defense made the difference at the end,” Keister said.
Keister finished with 15 points, including a trio of three-pointers. Jones also netted 15 in the win.

“In the second and third quarter, we were able to go at the pace we wanted,” Raiders head Coach Mark Western stated. “We scored 24 and 28, and that's a very good clip.”
Raider junior Ella Jack led all scorers with 18 points, while freshman Riley Kramer added 15. Storm junior Sydney Blaine led the Storm with 10 points.
