New Website Raises Bar for High School Coverage

It’s not often a season-changing play comes before the school year even starts.

But that’s the case as 810Varsity.com has moved to its next generation, partnering with national sports website power SportNGIN to bring the Midwest the ultimate coverage of football, basketball and other sports in the Kansas City area – and eventually through Kansas, Missouri and, well, who knows.

“There’s always layers behind layers of expansion and improvement, and the new website takes a major step in the direction that 810 Varsity wants to become for fans, families and of course, the student-athletes,” said 810 Varsity’s President, Chad Rader. “There are a lot of aspects ahead with player profiles, live tournament brackets and other features ahead in the upcoming year that will knock everyone’s socks off.”

The website will be undergoing updating throughout the year with the new features as 810 Varsity looks to expand its already strong coverage in both football and basketball, and into soccer in 2015-16. So hang tight as the website ramps up in content and features.

“Tony Stark had a few troubles with his first time flying and trying out the Iron Man suit,” Rader quipped. “There will be a few of the same growing pains, but in the end, the new website has a similar arsenal – unlimited.”

The upcoming season will be an exciting one for fans and athletes on the field, including the second annual Best of the Midwest Showcase held in January, featuring many area basketball powerhouses and national phenom Michael Porter. Another major event will be announced for the following season as well.

“810 Varsity continues to add events and items that bring Kansas City an experience as never before,” stated Rader.  “From the first live online scoreboard to unprecedented webcast coverage to the first major basketball event at Municipal and in Lawrence in years. Now a new website and possibly bring an Oak Hill or Findlay Prep to the area for events. It just goes on and on for area high school players and fans, and it’s thrilling to be a part of it.”
