Lee's Summit started off its season on the right foot, routing Truman, 33-0 on Friday night.

The Tigers (1-0) quarterback Dalton Hill lead his team strongly, giving the crowd no reason to miss last year's QB and now Mizzou player, Drew Lock. Hill connected with receiver Delshaun Presley for two touchdowns, each time for 15 yards. He also had two rushing touchdowns – one four-yard keep in the first quarter, and a 14-yarder in the third quarter.

"Me and my receivers have pretty good chemistry, but I couldn't do anything without my big guys up front," said LSHS quarterback Dalton Hill. "I'm thankful enough to have a great receiving corps where I can throw the ball up and they'll go get it."

Zach Mitchell also had a big night, picking up a blocked punt in the third quarter and running the ball 35 yards for fifth Tiger touchdown of the evening.

Next week, Lee's Summit will host Hickman High School next weekend at Bud Hertzog Stadium and Truman (0-1) will travel to Raytown South.
