Oak Grove scored the final 16 points to rally from a 20-13 deficit and down the MRVC West rival Bulldogs Friday at Odessa.

Austin Weygandt scored on a 7-yard run in the first quarter and Mason Smith scored on a 6-yard run in the second to give Odessa a 14-0 lead.

Oak Grove scored with 3:23 left in the half to cut the deficit to 14-7 at the intermission.

The Panthers scored again just 9 seconds into the third quarter but missed the extra point to make it 14-13.

Weygandt scored again at the 6:24 mark of the third to extend Odessa’s lead to 20-13, but Oak Grove then rallied for the win to improve to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the Missouri River Valley Conference West.

Odessa dropped to 3-2 and 0-1.
