Lee's Summit wins sixth straight, 49-29

Hill, Tigers Improve to 6-1

The Lee’s Summit offense is very much based in reality. It’s the production that looks like it came from a video game.

TheTigers did pretty much what they wanted to in a 49-29 victory over Blue Springs South on Friday night.

Quarterback Dalton Hill ran the show, and he made sure to include the entire offensive symphony. He finished the night with 375 yards and five touchdowns through the air, spreading the ball to five different receivers.

Hill also rushed for 91 yards and another score, capping a career game.

“When you have athletes around you like Sam (Buckner) and Somaj (Brewer) and all my receivers, it’s pretty easy to put up yards like that.”

Brewer caught eight passes for 159 yards and four touchdowns. Buckner kept the chains moving throughout the game, finishing with 12 receptions for 155 yards.

“I can look at Somaj and he can look at me, and we know exactly what we want to do and when we want to do it,” Hill said. “This man makes my job a lot easier.”

Three of Brewer’s scores came on a wide receiver screen that highlighted the Tigers’ level of execution.
