Chad Eaddy Takes Over Braves Football

The Bonner Springs Athletic/Activities Department would like to announce Chad Eaddy as the new Head Coach for the Bonner Springs Football Team.

Coach Eaddy came to Bonner Springs from South Carolina as a highly qualified head coach and will be entering his 17th season with coaching football next season. Currently he is teaching strength and conditioning at BSHS and the Powerlifting coach. 

Eaddy finishes his 16th season overall as an athletics coach of several sports including basketball, baseball, and track. Coach Eaddy comes to Bonner Springs High from Florence, South Carolina, where he served as the Head Football Coach, Head Strength Coach, and Offensive Coordinator for the Tigers. During his tenure at Wilson High, Coach Eaddy was blessed to develop, mentor, and coach three USA Today All-Americans, eight All State players, and 39 All Conference players. Most notable is the current #3 player in the country for the class of 2018, Xavier Thomas (DE).

As an athlete, Coach Eaddy was an All MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Running Back and the 7th 1000 yard rusher at South Carolina State University for the legendary football coach Willie Jeffries, who was the first African American Head Football Coach on the Division One level, breaking that barrier at Wichita State in 1979.
