MU Basketball Recruits Tip at 7:45 pm at Staley

If Mizzou fans aren't hyped about the Tigers basketball future enough, they can get a glimpse of more Tiger recruits tonight.

Two MU offered talents face off tonight at 7:45 pm at Staley High School in the marquee matchup of Summer Slam. As an NCAA-certified event, college coaches will be in heavy attendance as well.

Drue Drinnon, a 6-foot-2 point guard from Atlanta, GA will be starring for Southern Stampede, and has been offered by Mizzou and K-State. Joining him in the backcourt today will be Jalen Lecque, an ESPN Top 25 player in the 2019 class with 30+ Division I offers, and Mizzou likely on the horizon.

Malik Hall, a 6-foot-7 swingman from Sunrise Christian Academy in KS, also has been offered by Mizzou and Kansas. The 2019 forward ranks #76 in the Rivals Top 100 and plays for MoKan Elite 17s.

Isiaih Mosley, a 6-foot-6 forward from Columbia, MO, also will be playing for MoKan Elite 17s.

"There are many Mizzou fans in Liberty and the Northland, and they can check out some recruits from around the country," Rader said. "Plus K-State and Kansas fans can take a short drive and check out targets as well."

Roman Wilson, a 6-foot-10 forward from Park Hill, 7-foot Blaise Keita (Sunrise) and 6-foot-6 Tyem Freeman (Sprinfield, MO) also are drawing interest.

Daily passes will be available for the Summer Slam, which will run through Sunday, July 30.
