810 Varsity Big Class Linebacker - Missouri

Brighton Ramirez, Park Hill

Ramirez earned all-state first-team Class 6 honors at linebacker, and deservedly so with 142 tackles (83 solo) and a crazy 36 tackles for loss. Ramirez added seven sacks and 23 hurries in helping lead the Park Hill defense in a Class 6 semifinal campaign.

810 Varsity Big Class Linebacker - Kansas

Nick Allen, Blue Valley Southwest

Allen earned Defensive Player of the Year in the Eastern Kansas League, his second straight year as an EKL first-teamer. Allen racked up 151 tackles, 97 which were solo, and 21 for loss.

810 Varsity Small Class Linebacker - Missouri

McCauley Bowers - Richmond

For the second straight season, Bowers was named as an all-state first-team linebacker in Class 3. And for good reason, with 121 tackles - 97 solo - and four forced fumbles. Bowers also has been all-conference for three straight campaigns.


Dylan Downing earned first-team all-EKL accolades as a junior.

810 Varsity Small Class Linebacker - Kansas

Dylan Downing, Bishop Miege

Downing earned first-team all-league honors in the Eastern Kansas League as just a junior. Downing registered 142 tackles (10.9 per game), and a whopping 92 of those were solo. Downing also notched 14 tackles for a loss.
