The Mizzou commit led the Wildcats on both offensive and defensive line, and helped Blue Springs to its second straight Class 6 title game. Park er Jr. finished with 17 sacks and 22 tackles for loss, while forcing three fumbles.
The senior was named the Missouri Class 6 Defensive Player of the Year for 2017.

Smith caused havoc for opposing quarterbacks, notching 17.5 sacks along with 22 hurries. The senior registered 62 tackles, 11 for loss, and helped the Pirates to the Class 4 semifinals.
Smith was named all-state first team on the line for Class 4 in 2017.

The 6-foot-5, 235-pound defensive end helped lead the Mustangs defense in their first state title. The Kansas commit earned first-team Eastern Kansas League honors, and first-team all-state Class 6A accolades.
Joe Michalski, St. Thomas Aquinas
Michalski was a force on the offensive line for the Saints potent running game. The 6-foot-4, 270-pound junior was named first-team Eastern Kansas League, and first-team all-state Class 5A.

The 6-foot-4, 290 -pound tackle helped pave roads for the DeSoto running game while not allowing a sack all season. Kellner was a first-team all-state Class 4A selection

Burns helped lead the offensive line and the Stags to a fourth straight state title. Burns was named as a first-team all-state Class 4A pick.
