810 Varsity unveils its preseason Elite 81 list of some of the top Metro players in the area.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Billy Bartlett, BV Southwest

Senior, 6-0, 160

Bartlett enjoyed a monster season with 974 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior. He registered four games over 150 yards receiving. His totals likely drop with QB Will Eldridge out for the season though.

Cade Clemons, Lee's Summit West

Senior, 6-foot-2, 185

Clemons hauled in 577 receiving yards and six touchdowns as a junior. He will team with quarterback Ben Kobel again, and will get more balls with Mario Goodrich and Phillip Brooks departures. A commit to play baseball at Wichita State.

Sammy Cooper, Lee's Summit West

Junior, 5-foot-10, 175

One of a stable of top tier athletes on West, as he's committed to playing baseball at Notre Dame. Cooper already went for 105 yards and 10 catches in the opener against Park Hill.

Eliyh D'Obron, Odessa

Junior, 6-foot-2, 170

As just a sophomore, D'Obron hauled in 49 catches for 768 yards and five scores. The Bulldogs offense will be stout again, and the numbers should climb as a junior.

Luke Grimm, Raymore-Peculiar

Junior, 6-0, 170

As a sophomore, Grimm nearly clipped 1,000 yards at 974 and seven receiving scores. Grimm enjoyed nice outings at the 810 Varsity Combines too and is primed for a strong campaign.

Desmond Hutson, Raytown

Senior, 6-foot-4, 190

The Iowa commit brings good size and a big target for fellow Elite 81 quarterback to hit. Last year, Hutson snared 50 balls for 793 yards and 14 touchdowns. With Dominic Gicinto onto Mizzou, Hutson should enjoy an even bigger season.

Daniel Jackson, Bishop Miege

Junior, 6-0, 185

Jackson made his presence known immediately as a sophomore, blowing up for 1,270 receiving yards and 16 scores - the top returning numbers in the city. Jackson could recede a big statistically with Carter Putz - the state's all-time leading passer - graduating.

Trevor Kardell, Lee's Summit West

Junior, 6-foot-6, 200

Another big target returning with quarterback Ben Kobel connecting to him. Kardell registered 509 receiving yards and four scores, and will also benefit from the graduation of Goodrich and Brooks. A Mizzou commit for baseball.

Jaylin Noel, Park Hill

Sophomore, 5-foot-9, 155

Noel found his way as a freshman with some big catches, and will look for a bigger role in 2018, already shown with two touchdown receptions in Week One at Lee's Summit West

Logan Talley, Mill Valley

Senior,  5-foot-10, 175

Talley went nuts as a junior, piling up 1,254 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. He notched six 100+ yard games, and another at 99. The senior will be a focal point of the Mill Valley offense again.
