Read the Players of the Week, after Week One!

Each week, 810 Varsity will select its All-810 Varsity Team of the Week, highlighting some of the top individual and team performances of the past week.

Co-Player of the Week

QB Joe Campbell, Raytown
Campbell helped lead the Bluejays to a wild 41-34 win over Blue Springs South. The junior threw for 433 yards and five touchdowns.

Co-Player of the Week

RB Clyde Price, North Kansas City
It'll be hard keeping Price off this list weekly, especially since he's back on pace for another 2,000-yard season with a ridiculous 297 rushing yards and 3 TDs in a Week One win over Grandview. Oh yeah, add in another 32-yard reception for another score as well.

RB Patrick Connery, Kearney
Connery went nuts with 197 rushing yards and four touchdowns against Harrisonville - and what's scary was, the damage was done in the first half.

RB Montre Moore, Winnetonka
After a tough year last season, the Griffins needed to start the year off with a bang, and Moore did just that, rolling up 172 yards and three touchdowns in a win over St. Joe Benton.

RB Messiah Miller, Raytown
As many Bluejays that made this week's list, how can you keep a 100/100 performance off? Miller darted for 101 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground, and also hauled in six catches for 135 receiving yards and a score in Raytown's 41-34 over Blue Springs South. The TD catch? A 70-yard screen pass for the game-winner with 10 seconds left.

WR Brock Ivy, Park Hill South
The Panthers kept fighting back in a 41-35, and Ivy did his share with a week-high 159 yards and two touchdowns in the game.

WR D'Vontae Key, Raytown
It's hard to pick one of the three Jays who eclipsed 100 yards in the 41-34 win over Blue Springs South, but Desmond Hutson should still get their day. Key certainly did with 137 receiving yards and two TDs, including one in the final minute to put up Raytown, 34-27, in the wild finish.

WR Jonas Bennett, Odessa
Bennett opened the season in style with 93 yards and two scores in Odessa's 48-0 win at St. Pius X.

ATH Kai Tupinio, Lee's Summit
The Tigers will have many stat lines like this, with three Tigers seeing action at QB. But Tupinio ended up with 90 yards passing and a TD; 57 rushing yards, and a 13-yard receiving touchdown.

Offensive Line of the Week
Lee's Summit North - Any time you help produce two 100-yard runners for the night, that's impressive. Three? Wow. But FOUR? Say what? It was a Bronco stampede with John Eldridge (122), Keyon Mozee (116), Ontario Russell (110) and Christian Carter (107) breaking the century mark.

DL Chance Pittman, Grain Valley
The junior notched 9.5 tackles - 9 solo - in helping the Eagles shut down Savannah, 34-6.

LB Von Young IV, Fort Osage
The senior registered two interceptions in his first night as middle linebacker in the Indians 35-6 opening night romp.

DB Nolan Saale, Platte County
Saale enjoyed a heckuva night with an interception, then a scoop and fumble return for a TD in Platte County's 35-0 win  over Oak Park.

CB Landen Willis, Lee's Summit
Willis notched eight tackles and a big 42-yard punt return to jump a 22-19 Tigers lead to 29-18 and put the game out of reach in a 43-19 win over Liberty.
