Cameron Burt, Blue Valley North

Who would be Graham Mertz's go-to receiver? The answer was clear quickly - and in a way no one else in Kansas had before. Burt set a Kansas state record with 1,838 receiving yards, and was close to another with 21 receiving scores. Burt was an obvious no-brainer Kansas state first-team selection.

Hudson Bentley, Bishop Miege

When Daniel Jackson went down with a season-ending injury, who would step up in his place? Bentley and fellow teammate Phillipe Wesley (987 yards, 11 TDs) did just that, with Bentley hauling in 66 receptions for 1,029 yards and 9 TDs).  The senior emerged big during the playoffs with 129.25 yards and 5 TDs in the last four games of Miege's run to its fifth straight state title.
