810 Varsity looking for various candidate(s) to work remotely and do any of following:

• update scores and tournament brackets (Friday nights)
• update player football stats (Tue, Wed)
• write short stories and content about players and games

Work Location:

• Johnson County
• Lee's Summit
• Lawrence
• Lansing

Duties:

• set up video equipment for online video broadcasts
• arrive 60-90 minutes before game times, set up equipment for video, annoucers
• have basic knowlege of laptops, internet connectivity
• having own laptop is nice, but not essential. Other equipment provided

Can be combined with play-by-play person / role

• High school students welcome to apply for any items, from video recaps to story updates to photographers!
• Get experience, advice, contacts - and even get paid!

• update contact databases of college and high school coaches, and players
• send communication to teams, coaches and individuals for events
• assist with coordination, scheduling of events (staff, teams) and lead efforts of intake of event participants, shirt distribution and other tasks

• deliver game reports from on-site at games
• having own camera, tripod preferred
• ability to edit own videos, watermark and upload after completion

• call action for area high school sporting events
• experience preferred
• calling games at home for Madden or NBA2k, or being a PA announcer don't necessarily qualify as prior experience
• able to provide own laptop or USB headset is nice
• ability to contact coaches and learn about teams, stats
